A bit of history...
Bernard Babi (or Babÿ or Babij according to the writings), baker, is the very first owner. We find traces of him on the Compoix of 1776 (rudimentary land register between the 16th and 18th centuries in the southwest of France) proving that at that time the house already existed, since he paid the taxes. The plot is part of "L'Enclos des Jacobins" former property of the Dominican order.
